DIRECTOR’S NOTE

I’ve spent my career working in nonprofit and ministry spaces, and I’ve seen a lot of organizations get stuck at capacity, unable to level up. They can’t hire for it, can’t keep leaning on board members and volunteers, and can’t find outsourced solutions that fit their unique needs and budget. Resourceful leaders end up creating patchwork solutions that require a lot of energy to sustain.

These “stuck” organizations tend to address the problem from a high level, with strategic planning sessions, outside consultants, staff re-orgs, etc. But even the best ideas can wither on the vine if there’s no capacity to implement them. This leaves boards feeling frustrated and under-utilized, and staff leaders trying to push the organization “over the hump” so they can hire the help they need. Sometimes they get there before they burn out. Usually, they don’t.

We started The Jamison Group to help these organizations get unstuck. We’re motivated by compassion to serve those who serve others. If your organizations fits our mission, then our goal is to be exactly what you need: an immediate capacity boost with the flexibility of a contract professional, the bought-in responsiveness of a dedicated team member, and the clear-thinking insights of a high-level leader; all at a price you can actually afford.

We can’t be all of this for everyone. But for the right organizations that are doing exceptional work with a heart of compassion, we absolutely can. It’s why we exist, and it’s an honor to serve in this way.
