OUR MISSION

Our mission is to provide professional services to organizations that compassionately serve people in the spirit of James 1:27.

OUR CORE PRINCIPLE

We are a ministry with customers. We aim to serve organizations with care & compassion while exceeding expectations for professionalism and customer satisfaction.

Our Team

    Bill & Janita Smith

    Founders/Board Members

    Bill and Janita’s life mission is to live out James 1:27. They dedicated 30+ years to discipling kids through parenting, fostering, and adoption. In business, they built and sold an accounting practice before Bill and his brother Mike expanded the family manufacturing business. After its successful sale, they launched their foundation in 2013, which later led to the creation of The Jamison Group in 2024. Read more on that here →

    Jon Thorngate

    Director

    Jon has over a decade of experience in nonprofit leadership, including church-planting, strategic consulting, fractional leadership, and interim management. He does his best work connecting the dots between strategic vision and operational execution, using his organizational acumen, technical ability, and people skills to drive projects towards quality outcomes. Jon has an MBA from North Park University in Chicago.

    Savanna Adams

    Advisory Team

    Savanna possesses a rare blend of technical savvy, gritty work ethic, relational capacity, and razor-sharp thinking. Her skills include financial management, data analysis, process development, and strategic implementation. Savanna is a high-capacity leader and a value-add to virtually any project. She earned a Masters in Bioethics from Trinity International University.

    Jim Alexander

    Advisory Team

    Jim is a retired executive, leadership consultant, and executive coach. He’s a highly adept strategic thinker who quickly grasps complex challenges and navigates them with ease. He moves seamlessly between visionary leadership and tactical execution in guiding projects toward success. His sharp analytical skills, keen situational awareness, and genuine care for people make him an exceptional developer of high-capacity leaders.

    Bevin Dawson

    Service Partner - Building Solutions

    Bevin is a jack of all trades; a creative at heart who can envision it, design it, and build it. Bevin does his best work restoring beauty and functionality to old, tired spaces. This includes The Loop Commons, which he owns and operates. He’s an exceptional problem solver and people person.

    Advisory Team

    Jon has honed a well-rounded professional skillset in building a career in marketing, software startups, and business development. After building and selling a software business, he now works as an M&A advisor to others navigating that same process. Jon’s insights are a welcome to any conversation, with specific strengths in branding, marketing, growth, and strategy.

    Kamsi serves as the Director of Operations & Human Resources at RiverStone Church in Kennesaw, Georgia. Kamsi holds a Bachelor’s Degree in International Affairs and earned her Master of Public Administration from Kennesaw State University. She’s a strong leader with a heart for operational excellence & organizational health.

    Board Member

    Aaron brings wisdom, spiritual direction, and compassion to his work. His family is devoted to opening their home to the work of radical, Biblical hospitality. Aaron serves as care pastor for Grace Church in Walworth, WI.
